Keep current on emerging trends in social media and brief upper management and assist in executive sell through.

Keep abreast of changes in the Facebook platform and take appropriate actions in response.

Analyze past social marketing for effectiveness.

Qualifications / Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Art/Design, Marketing, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience.)

Expert user of social media (Twitter, Facebook, Google+), blogs and emerging media.

Graphic design skills.

Excellent written communicator; specializing in the language of retail marketing, fashion, and “social”.

Ability to translate techno-speak into plain language.

Highly self-directed.

Excellent organization skills.

Ability to juggle multiple concurrent projects and tasks.

Job Responsibilities:
This role will assist the AVP of Digital Media Investment with job functions that are specific to (1) process (2) analytics and (3) media investment:

1. Process

  • Help lead implementation of digital tools, processes and systems as needed to advance Corporate objectives and framework
  • On-going collaboration with experimentation on developing standardized processes for LUSA
  • Develop engaging education materials around digital education to further the knowledge of LUSA employees

2. Analytics

  • Work with digital AOR and creative agencies to analyze competitive activity in the marketplace
  • Collaborate with Digital agencies and internal team members to develop clear business and measurement objectives for each initiative
  • Work closely with digital taskforce to raise awareness of internal best practices and case studies
  • Collaborate with the CMI division on digital research
  • Marketing segmentation, statistical modeling and test design experience a plus

3. Transversal Programs

  • Drive thought-leadership and explore multi-brand /multi-platform opportunities for LUSA
  • Push the envelope in new frontiers — such as gaming and iTV

4. Investment

  • Monitor, audit, and maintain the digital Investment approach for LUSA while effectively working with digital agency teams (search, creative, and media) to drive the highest cost-efficiency
  • Establish key relationships in the marketplace with partners and vendors

Ideal Skill-set required:

  • Ideally this role will have previous digital experience but must have basic media knowledge (CPM, GRP,etc) for consideration; the core function of this role is to oversee the digital agencies as they help us implement our LUSA Corporate goals/objectives/agendas
  • Previous experience implementing brand studies with research partners (such as Dynamic Logic and Insight Express)
  • Familiar with media research – ComScore, MRI, TNS Evaliant, and the usual suspects
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in ad management tools such as Atlas DMT and DoubleClick DART
  • Particular proficiency with comScore suite a big plus
  • Analytical Thinking
  • Relevant work experience with web analytics packages – Omniture, Webtrends, Coremetrics, Google Analytics, DART & Atlas
  • Experience in data analyst role. Strong understanding of the internet marketing business and key metrics
  • Ability to collect data, analyze trends, identify strategic recommendations and present them in an logical manner
